Advances in Recycling and Environmental Technologies
Description
This collection presents innovative approaches to recycling and resource recovery, aiming to address challenges toward sustainable mining at near-to-waste generation. Contributions present technologies for slag valorization, recycling of electronic waste (e-waste), resource recovery from mine and urban wastes, and integration of Techno-Economic Analysis (TEA) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Areas of interest include examples of application techniques as pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, solvometallurgy, electrohydrometallurgy, and novel materials to extract critical raw materials thereby minimizing waste and supporting raw material supply.
