In the past years software evolved from a business supporting tool to a critical factor of success in many business sectors and developed to be a driving force for innovation in economy and society. The User
Conference on Software Quality, Test and Innovation (Anwenderkonferenz für Softwarequalität, Test und Innovation, ASQT) targets CIOs, quality assurance managers, test managers and business executives, responsible for Information Technology (IT) investments.
The conference aims to show advanced methods and technologies of how to develop and operate high-quality software and software services. ASQT 2013 has put a special focus on information security including process and technology aspects. The Post-Proceedings to the 11th User Conference on Software Quality, Test and Innovation present selected topics from the conference in Graz on the 19th and 20th of September 2013. ASQT 2013 in particular addressed the field of information security, security testing as well as pressing concerns in test design, test strategy, test automation, software technology, and agile methods.
