Geriatric Imaging
Description
The objectives of the Second edition of
Geriatric Imaging
remain consistent with those of the First edition published in 2013. The book addresses a broad spectrum of applications of various imaging techniques, with individual sections dedicated to each major organ system. By integrating practical guidance with comprehensive coverage,
Geriatric Imaging
aims to support both everyday clinical decision-making and academic study.
The expansion of content in the second edition required production of two stand-alone volumes to accommodate updated text and figures, as well as addition of several new chapters. More than 50% of the content in this edition is new. Complementing Volume 1, Volume 2 compromises 27 chapters focusing on Imaging of Gastrointestinal, Urogenital, Hematologic/Lymphatic, and Musculoskeletal Disorders, as well as Interventional Procedures. The Second edition is authored by 179 experts from around the world and is richly illustrated with more than 2,400 images. This work is intended for a broad readership, including radiologists, geriatricians, other clinicians, trainees, and allied health professionals, and researchers seeking a deeper understanding of imaging in the ageing population.
