The Conflict of Laws in Commercial Litigation

This new work offers a comprehensive guide to the principles and rules applied to determine jurisdiction (including interlocutory proceedings), the enforcement of judgments and the applicable law in international commercial litigation. The principal focus of the book is on the conduct of judicial proceedings in the English courts, but there is also a brief analysis, by way of comparison, of approaches taken in other legal systems. There is a separate chapter on the conflict of laws in arbitration. The aim is to provide an authoritative reference for practitioners as well as a critical analysis for the benefit of academics and students.
