Polymer Blends: v.2

This volume is devoted to the performance of blends. The initial chapters deal with mechanical properties and fracture resistance, focusing on the performance and charactererization of rubber toughened polymers, including fatigue. Blending for specific performance characteristics including optical, thermo-mechanical, chemical durability and barrier characteristics is dealt with and two chapters deal with reinforced polymer blends using fibres, particulate materials and liquid crystal polymers as the reinforcing agents. Elastomeric blends, the problems of recycling blends at the end of their life-cycle, and the recycling of mixed polymers as blends are also covered.
