Dr. Rakesh Patel is a distinguished academic and civil engineering expert with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and institutional leadership. Currently serving as Professor & Head of Civil Engineering at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, he has held multiple HoD positions across premier technical institutes in Madhya Pradesh. A PhD in Civil Engineering from MANIT Bhopal (2015), his research focuses on sustainable construction materials, structural analysis using Method of Initial Functions (MIF), and FRP composites, with 15+ publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals like Elsevier's Engineering Science and Technology and Springer's International Journal of Advanced Structural Engineering . A recipient of seven Best Faculty/HoD Awards from Sagar Group of Institutions, Dr. Patel has pioneered innovations in construction technology, holding patents for red mud-based cement substitutes and automated rooftop farming structures.
Dr. Krishna Kant Pathak is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, with over two decades of expertise in Structural Engineering, Continuum Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Structural Shape Optimization. A Ph.D. graduate from IIT Delhi (2001), his academic journey includes an M.E. in Structural Engineering from MNNIT Allahabad and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from KNIT Sultanpur. Dr. Pathak has held pivotal roles as a scientist at premier institutions like SERC Ghaziabad, and AMPRI Bhopal before transitioning to academia, where he has mentored countless Ph.D. and M.Tech students.
Dr. Kasi Viswanadh Prakhya is an accomplished civil engineer and construction professional with over 30 years of leadership experience in the UK and India. Currently serving as Director of McAlpine Design Group (MDG) through strategic governance, team mentorship, and innovative engineering solutions. A Visiting Professor at IIT Varanasi and IIT Gandhinagar, he bridges industry and academia with expertise in offshore wind turbine foundations, deep basements, and seismic-resistant structures. His career includes pivotal roles as Deputy General Manager at Reliance/Bechtel and Chief Design Engineer at Esquire Engineers, where he optimized design processes and led high-performance teams.
