Description
Patch the Puppy has been found homeless and taken in by a rescue centre. A good home has been found for him with a little boy called Lucas, and his parents are preparing for him to come and live with them. The story is about the family going out to buy the right food, getting a book from the library on how to look after Patch, preparing a comfortable bed in a warm place, and phoning up the vet to make an appointment for him to have his jabs. Patch is quiet and nervous at first but soon gets used to his new home. The story enda with Patch showing for the first time that he has settled. An endearing story with a positive outcome showing the solution to the problem of abandoned or homeless pets.
