Description
Very few formal studies have been conducted for the purpose of establishing the essence of the distinct individual in the process of inventing and formulating futures. Those which have been conducted focused almost exclusively on the sum of the average forces working in a system. The dimension of exemplifying and interpreting personal futures is usually ignored. Based on this, the book proposes that the nature of the forecasting endeavor in the context of social systems is immanent in the personal narrative procedure. It suggests that forecasting transformation and change in a living system is embedded within the narrating process of an event. It is primarily achieved through interpreting the future scene and portraying its occurrences.
