We are delighted to introduce the 11 edition of Global Legal Insights - Merger Control. As in previous editions, the 19 jurisdiction chapters each offer comment and strategic insights into merger control laws around the world, as well as their enforcement in practice. Chapters for Chile, Malaysia, Singapore and Slovenia have been added to the guide for this edition. The guide continues to consider how merger control regimes interact with new and evolving national security/foreign direct investment review processes in many jurisdictions. This edition also contains an additional chapter that looks at whether tools for measuring unilateral price increases in the UK and EU due to mergers in differentiated markets are fit for purpose. This work, together with the other titles in the now well-established Global Legal Insights series, goes beyond the basic letter of the law and adds important colour and texture to the core topics which it discusses. The publishers have again gathered a group of leading practitioners from around the world to provide their personal insights into the practical operation of the merger control rules.
