Simplified Design of Steel Structures

While considerable revision of this text has occurred through the several editions following the first (which appeared almost 45 years ago) the general style and avowed purpose of the work remain essentially the same. The views and intentions expressed by Professor Parker in his preface to the first edition are retained in the development of the work. This remains so despite the fact that this is the third edition prepared since Professor Parker's death.
