Description
The problem of water pollution and its control is very important in developing as well as developed countries. The increasing recognition of water pollution control in Asian countries led to the success of the International Conference on Water Pollution Control in Bangkok in 1978 and subsequently, the 1st IAWPRC Asian Regional Conference held in Tokyo in 1985. This 2nd Asian Regional Conference was held in order to discuss current problems, research and development technologies which are being employed in various countries.
