Conceptions of Marginality in the Postcolonial Novel

Postcolonial discourse in all its breadth and depth often narrows down to issues of marginality, a situation in which the imperial hegemony subjugates the less privileged peoples to the margins, be they nations or linguistic, religious and ethnic groups, or race.
