He received hisPh.D. in multimedia and communications from Aalborg University in Denmark, his M.Tech in telecommunicationssystems engineering and his B.Tech in electronics and electrical communications engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.Balamuralidhar Purushothaman is principal scientist at Tata Consultancy Services and head of their Bangalore Innovation Lab.
