Description
The incidence of patients suffering from respiratory disorders increases over decades. Hence, need arises to find out best recumbent body positions for the benefit of these patients to make breathing comfortable for them and also help them cope up with the dyspneic attacks using different body position. Thus the knowledge of body positions that favor lung function can be used as a therapeutic measure, aiming at improving lung volume, oxygenation, respiratory mechanics and minimizing disturbances produced by major surgical procedures, with prevention of pulmonary complications.
