Whatever your style, there is a cushion just for you from traditional to contemporary, functional and fun. Use your stash, swap with friends, give as gifts or decorate your home. Patterns include techniques such as piecing, applique, embroidery and motifs. There are 12 pattens in total. For the traditionalist there is Starflower using three different techniques and having an envelope back, Blooming Season has an embroidered centrepiece that makes me think traditional but it was previously published in the book Stitch Zakka, Breeze is a Dresden Block and Social Circles has interlocking rings, often found on old quilts. The other designs are modern and some like the shaped cat heads are whimsical. Others have great applique designs and could also encourage you to personalize them by adapting them to an image of your cat, your street, which would add an even cosier touch to your home. It would not surprise me if you want to make them all. All designs have been published in other books. * Karen Platt -yarnsandfabrics.co.uk * I love the fact that C&T Publishing have brought together different designers to create an amazing arrayof 12 different pillows. I love cushions and they can give a room a completely different look. They make rooms more homey and can bring together a theme or colour range. There are so many different techniques used in the book to create projects with so many different looks. I haven't been sewing for long but there are quite a few different designs that I feel I would be capable of making. What ever level of sewer you are I am
sure you will find something to make. I love the embroidered looks that create such fun pillows. My favorite has to be the Wee Village Town Pillow. It such fun and it would look perfect in my sheep themed room.
It's on my to make list and I really can't wait to make it. With so many designers being brought together to create the designs, you get unique looks for each of the pillows. Each designer has their own personality
and it's reflected in their designs. Overall a fantastic book. Overall a fantastic book. It holds everything you need to create these fantastic 12 different projects in the book. * Crochet Addict UK *
