Nigel Oxley is Senior Lecturer in Etching and Drawing at London Metropolitan University. He was a drawing student at the City & Guilds of London Art School before studying painting and etching at Camberwell School of Art & Crafts. He joined White Ink in 1971 leaving in 1978 to become master printer and etcher at Kelpra Studio where he stayed until 1990. Nigel set up his own studio in East Sussex and was responsible for much of the graphic archive at the Museum of Installation. He has worked with many internationally renowned artists and regularly exhibits his own work.
