Description
This guide to Windows NT database development using Microsoft's SQL Server introduces the capabilities of SQL Server and its core concepts. Hovever, with the release of Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft has produced a powerful, multi-purpose network operating system that is easy to administer, flexible, scaleable and is further expanded by its built-in Internet/Intranet and communication services. NT 4.0 competes head-on with UNIX and NetWare as a comprehensive solution to enterprise-wide computing. Indications show that Windows NT is steadily gaining market share.
