Inspection

As from September 1993 all maintained schools will be inspected on a regular basis at least once every four years. This book is designed to offer schools a practical, concise resource to prepare them for inspection. It is based on the principal that quality assurance is better than quality contro. The book examines the issues of management and leadership, classroom practice, structures and relationships - all written within the criteria established by Ofsted for the new inspectorate.
