Frommer's Croatia

Karen Tormé Olson and her daughter-in-law, Sanja Bazulic Olson traveled Croatia for 3 months as a two-person writer-translator team to gather material for this Frommer's guide. Karen is a photographer, freelance travel writer, and former Chicago Tribune editor. She currently holds a day job as a high school counselor and is in the final phase of her doctoral studies in education. She lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, son, and three large dogs.

Sanja Bazulic Olson is a Croatian national who was born in Denmark but has lived in Croatia all her life. She graduated from Zagreb University with a degree in agricultural engineering and has worked as a sales representative for Tetra Pak Ltd. Sanja is currently a volunteer agronomist in Uganda, where her husband Greg works as a microeconomist.
