David Olsen is the author of The Words You Should Know and co-author of The Big Book of Words You Should Know and Roget's Words for Intellectuals. He earned his M.A. degree in communications and B.A. degree in public relations from Brigham Young University. He is the president of Market Builders, a marketing and public relations consultancy works with consumer product companies to launch products and brands to the public. He lives in Utah with his wife Holly, and they are the parents of five children.
