Transactions by firms involving other countries currency expose the firms to international exchange risk. The frequent fluctuations in exchange rate would either be beneficial or be detrimental to a firm subject to how the firm was able to manage it. Little empirical literature exist on how exchange rate fluctuations affect financial performance of manufacturing firms. This work therefore empirically investigated the effect of exchange rate fluctuation on manufacturing firms financial performance in Nigeria for ten years. Ex-post facto research design was employed while multiple regression analysis was used to analyse the secondary data gathered.
