Person
Jacqueline O'Neil is an award-winning author of more than a dozen books and a couple hundred magazine articles on animal care and training. She and her husband, Tom, a wildlife photographer, follow the sun around North America in a motor home. Favorite stops include the Florida Keys, Montana, Alaska, and the Yukon. Before morphing into a Gypsy, Jackie was a successful dog breeder and trainer, handling her own dogs to top awards in the show and obedience rings.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Jackie is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, the National League of American Pen Women, and the Dog Writers Association of America, where she also served two terms as a director. In addition to dogs, she's into horses, birds, fishing, scuba diving, and fiddling.
