Paddy O'Brien is Referee Manager with the International Rugby Board. He refereed 36 internationals, including the 2003 Rugby World Cup semifinal between England and France, and 2 Super 12 finals. In 2003 Paddy was awarded the Order of New Zealand Merit for services to refereeing. Paddy is domiciled in New Zealand with his wife Carolyn their two children, Danielle and Hamish, but he travels extensively throughout the world in his role.
