Athlone Miscellany is a collection of the historical articles published by Gearoid O'Brien, the author, historian and broadcaster. They have always had a wide readership, and are known for capturing a sense of the town and the community, in an informative and engaging way. This is the first time these articles have been published together, and represent a valuable history of the changing face of Athlone.
