This book covers A and AS level syllabuses for design and technology. It should also prove useful to first year college, polytechnic and university students following degree courses in engineering and industrial design. It aims to provide a practical guide to designing and presents the scientific principles and technical information essential at this level. It covers all the elements of design, technology and engineering in one book and is suitable for students with no previous experience of the subject as well as those who have studied CDT for GCSE (assumes a knowledge of mathematics and science at GCSE level).
