Ways of practical wisdom

After a survey of Virtue Ethics, with the introduction of the notion of 'phronesis' in Chapter 1,in Chapter 2, I consider a number of dilemmas in human conduct and society that phronesis has to deal with. In Chapter3, I discuss the limits of reason in phronesis, and in Chapter 4, the central issue of self and other. In Chapter 5, finally, I discuss some tools one has in the enactment of phronesis, in charting multiple causes of action and the use of scripts.
