Itself with it

This book is a hybrid, a cross between being an artist's book & a book about an artist. It concerns itself with all aspects of C.Newman's work from 1980-94, music, poetry, painting & video, the 4 central chapters drawing examples of work in these various mediums together according to their method of making, with many "illustrations" & sections of writing by the artist which have been treated by the technique in question. The two outer chapters, more "scholarly" in nature, are by Christopher Sweet (painting) & Daniel Charles (music). The book is presented in 3 languages.
