Description
This compilation of poems was written over a course of roughly ten years and aim to capture different perspectives. These perspectives are heavily influenced by different emotions. And these emotions are described using layered images and metaphorical interpretations. The collection starts with the most negative poems and gradually transitions to positive ones which is aimed to take you on a gradual journey of transition from a darkened mindset to a more elated one. The first poem sets the stage, something devastating occurs. The final poem is a continuation of the first but concludes with a positive note. These two poems, the beginning and the end, encapsulate everything in between with thoughts one might think or perceive under certain emotional stresses; eventually with lack thereof.

Nathaniel New-Castle is a poet and writer who has been drawn to storytelling since childhood, eventually finding his true voice through poetry. What began as a personal outlet for emotion grew into a deep commitment to the craft, shaped by life's darker seasons, self-reflection, and growth. After a period away from writing, encouragement from family reignited his passion, leading him to take his work seriously and embrace writing as his true calling.His work explores shifting perspectives-moving from suffering to hope-with a strong focus on emotion, family, purpose, and resilience. Known for dense imagery, careful structure, and rhythmic flow, Nathaniel writes first and foremost for himself, staying true to what he would want to read. Outside of writing, he is a hardworking, family-driven individual, qualities that naturally influence and ground his creative work.
