Victoria Nelson was born in Singapore and grew up in Southern California. She and her high school sweetheart, Justin, have four children, two of whom have disabilities. Her oldest, Moriah, was born with a medically-complex syndrome called CHARGE, and she passed away at the age of seven. Through her books, Victoria hopes to honor Moriah's memory, increase representation for children with disabilities, and encourage kindness and respect for all.
