This sequel to the highly successful Mastering French is designed for readers who have already acquired a basic knowledge of French. It will extend their language skills and improve their knowledge of France, the French people and French culture. The book contains authentic contemporary passages, recorded discussions by native French speakers and literary extracts by various writers. It provides ideal introductory material for the newer, less traditional A level syllabuses. A cassette is also available containing the recorded discussions, three folk songs, some of the literary extracts and an edited version of the pronunciation guide contained in the book.
