The Linguistic Computation of Arabic

A collection of seminal and theoretical papers and research reports on Arabic and related Semitic languages. These languages have not often been the subject of study by computational linguistic researchers partly because of the Eurocentric nature of such research and because the richness and complexity of these languages have presented problems. This book aims to address many of the complex issues and growing interest in Arabic culture and language.
