Person
Bupe Getrude Mutono-Mwanza is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Supply Chains and Circular Economy and Associate Director at the Graduate School of Business, University of Zambia. She is also a Professor Extraordinarius at the University of South Africa. With over a decade of academic leadership, research, postgraduate supervision, and teaching experience, she is a recognized scholar in sustainable supply chains and circular economy transitions. She holds a BSc in Production Management, an MEng in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management, and a PhD in Engineering Management. Prof. Mutono-Mwanza has published widely in international journals, authored a book on circular economy and sustainable operations, and presented award-winning papers at global conferences. Her research focuses on sustainable operations, resource recovery, and waste valorization, significantly contributing to Zambia's scholarship on circular value chains. She also serves in professional and governance roles and actively engages in public scholarships, promoting sustainability and inclusive development.
