For dinosaur fans (and frankly, who isn't?) Big Picture Press's Dinosaurium , a visit to a book museum of dinosaurs, is a lavishly illustrated succession of the beasts, described by Lily Murray with wonderful pictures by Chris Wormell. Quite fabulous. -- Melanie McDonagh * The Spectator * Aspiring paleontologists of 9+could not find a more handsome guide than the giant Dinosaurium, written with clarity and sophisticated information by Lily Murray, and illustrated in impressive detail with Chris Wormell's phenomenal woodcuts. It makes knowledge ravishing. * Sunday Times * Lots of dinosaur non-fiction this year, but this new volume in the Welcome to the Museum series is hard to beat. In the same museum exhibition style as Animalium et al, over 50 popular and lesser-known species are presented in a curated guide. Each entry is profiled on double-page spreads, with input from a leading palaeontologist.Chris Wormell's detailed artwork is outstanding, even more so in the outsized format. Like its predecessors, this will find fans far beyond the children's section. * Bookseller *
