Elaine Murphy is an Irish playwright. Her debut play Little Gem (Dublin Fringe Festival then Traverse Theatre, Ebinburgh) won the Fishamble New Writing Award and the 2009 Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award, and was nominated for Best New Play at the Irish Times Theatre Awards.
