Lisa Murkowski is a third-generation Alaskan proudly serving as the state’s senior senator. Since joining the U.S. Senate in 2002, she has earned a reputation for her collaborative approach and her ability to work across the aisle to reach commonsense solutions. She and her husband live in Anchorage, Alaska, where they raised their two sons.
Charles Wohlforth is the author of many nonfiction books about science, history, and Alaska, and often collaborates with authors who have their own stories to tell. He is married, has four adult children, and divides his time between Alaska and the New York City area.
