Katherine Munson is an Oregon author who began writing stories at four years old. Her very first story was inspired by an ugly hand-me-down doll, Grumpy Gorana, who became the sympathetic villain in a series of superhero books. Ever since then, Katherine has been unable to stop telling stories, whether on the page or through other art forms such as music, dance, or theatre. Today, among many other projects, she continues to write and rewrite the books in her Eye of the Master series, which she started in 2010. Katherine is the founder of Alonili Press, which she started in 2020. She holds a double degree from Corban University in Creative Writing and General Psychology, and she currently works in Special Education. In true authorly form, she lives with her husband, Garrett, and her python, Ariadne, in a weird little house surrounded by spiky trees.
