Description
An Irish boy with dark, magical powers is approached by three Cuban children recently orphaned seeking help following their parents' murder.
An orphan himself, Larry Lir, feels compelled to help them. Up against him are three ruthless Cuban agents led by Valdes Da Silva - another orphan. They will stop at nothing to achieve their aims.
Lir must use every trick at his disposal to keep the Cuban family safe, but fortunately he can use his powers of black magic to overcome adversity. Will he succeed against the ruthless Da Silva?
Carrying an important message about basic press freedoms, Orphans is the first book introducing Larry Lir, and it is expected that The Secrets of Age will continue his adventures.
