Advances in Transport Processes: v. 4

The prime objective of this serial publication is to present authoritative and evaluate reviews of both fundamental and applied topics in heat, mass and momentum transport. The subject matter covered by this serial is truly interdisciplinary and it is expected that it will serve the needs of engineers and physical scientists engaged in research, development and/or design in various engineering disciplines and diverse industries. Another objective of this serial is to meet the (often conflicting) requirements of the engineer/scientist engaged in fundamental research as well as those of the practitioner in industry. Thus, it is hoped that the former will benefit immensely from awareness of the practical problems the latter is faced with, while the latter will benefit from the advances made by the former by applying them to solve real world problems.
