The Ghost of Davey Brocket

An engrossing ghost story set in 1960's Darlington for the young adult. On leaving school at the age of 15 Mickey Marwood joins his pal Malk to work on the furnaces of the Town Forge. In the sandy cellar beneath their place of work they encounter the ghost of a teenage suicide victim who it seems is destined to roam the dusty vault for eternity. Mickey and his teenage gang of Malk, Babs and Val set out to uncover the truth behind the suicide to attempt to set at rest the spirit of this young man who would otherwise continue in perpetual. anguish
