Compressive Sensing for Seismic Data Analysis

This thorough book concerns seismic data acquisition and processing, a necessary stage in the geologic assessment of a site of interest whereby raw data is acquired and processed before passing it over to geologists. The focus of the text is on the analysis and processing of 1-D and/or 2-D seismic images. Many synthetic and real data examples will be provided after each theory, concept, or algorithm to provide the readers with a real practical understanding of how compressive sensing algorithms are used. Some MATLAB and C codes will be provided along with some data sets to allow all instructors, students, and researchers see for themselves the results and play with the data and algorithms.
