But it may already be too late to save Roma Nova from meltdown and herself from entrapment and destruction by her lifelong enemy...
Reviews / Votes
'A taut, fast-paced thriller - I enjoyed it enormously. Rome, guns and rebellion. Darkly gripping stuff.' - Conn IgguldenMore details

Person
Alison Morton was born and brought up in West Kent. A 'Roman nut' since age 11, she continues to be fascinated by that complex, power and value-driven civilisation. Armed with an MA in history, six years' military service and the love of a good thriller, she explores via her Roma Nova adventure thrillers - 'INCEPTIO', 'PERFIDITAS', 'SUCCESSIO' and 'AURELIA' - the 'what if' idea of a modern Roman society run by strong women. INSURRECTIO is the second book in the 'AURELIA' cycle. Alison now lives in France with her husband, cultivates a Roman herb garden and is writing the sixth Roma Nova book.
