I'm Jean, and I am so excited you are here. Writing my first book has been a dream come true for me. It is a way to combine my love of books and flowers into something that children will enjoy and learn from. I want to encourage children to love and cherish their family, friends, and nature. My love of gardening started in kindergarten with the gift of rose bouquets from the gardener for the rose garden in Ritter Park in Huntington, WV. I love people, reading, and gardening, and hope that my books make you smile. The importance of reading to our children is a gift to them (and us) that cannot be overstated.I live in North Carolina with my dear husband and my beautiful gardens.
