Frank Frankfort Moore (1855-1931) was an Irish novelist and playwright. He was born in Limerick, Ireland and began his career as a journalist before turning to writing fiction. Moore wrote over 20 novels, many of which were set in his native Ireland or in England. He was known for his romantic and historical fiction, often exploring themes of love and social class. His most famous novel is "The Jessamy Bride," which was first published in 1896 and is still widely read today. In addition to his writing, Moore was a well-known figure in Irish literary circles and was involved in the founding of the Irish Literary Theatre. He was also a member of the Royal Society of Literature and served as the editor of the literary magazine "The Idler." Overall, Frank Frankfort Moore was a prolific writer and important figure in Irish and British literary circles.
