Persons
Barbara Miller has worked with educators in professional development and teacher education for more than fifteen years. She is currently Managing Project Director of the Center for Professional Communities in Education at Education Development Center, Inc.
Jean Moon is currently on leave from Lesley College to work as Advisor for Education Programs for the ExxonMobil Foundation. She has directed numerous teacher professional development projects throughout the years and has served as lead principal investigator on many evaluation studies in K-12 mathematics and science education. Moon has written a number of articles on alternative assessment.
Susan Elko is a veteran classroom teacher who has designed and facilitated professional development in more than thirty school districts. She has sixteen years experience working with teachers and administrators to create lasting change in classroom practice. Currently an education consultant, Elko served for five years as manager of Professional Development Programs for the Merck Institute for Science Education.
