Pat Moon is a highly acclaimed author. Prior to becoming a writer she was, amongst other things, a teacher. After attending a course on writing for children she wrote her first novel, Double Image, which was shortlisted for the Smarties Prize. Pat was born in Kent and now lives in Norwich. Sarah Nayler was born in Southend and grew up in Norfolk. She now lives in London with her husband, son and numerous pets. Sarah says she is very proud of being dyslexic. She was never very good at writing, but Sarah believes that it's because she always tried to make up for this by drawing well that she is a full-time illustrator today.
