Environmental Issues

This resource aims to open up the environmental debate by providing factual information on environmental issues related to global problems, which are usually discussed only in general and often misleading terms. It is divided into five chapters, each dealing with one issue in depth. These are: atmosphere; ocean; biosphere; energy; and population. The text is supported by photographs, graphs and diagrams, and each page contains questions which aim to be thought-provoking and opinion-forming. Also included is a glossary and a place name index.
