Arie L. Molendijk, Ph.D. (1991), University of Leiden, is Professor of the History of Christianity at the University of Groningen. He has published extensively on the history of modern German and Dutch theology and philosophy, including a book on Ernst Troeltsch: Zwischen Theologie und Soziologie (1996).
