Computerized Numerical Analysis

This book shows scientists and engineers how to apply numerical methods using either the C, Pascal, FORTRAN, or BASIC programming language. Readers will find practical examples of real-world analysis problems covering linear algebraic equations, nonlinear equations, function interpolation and approximation, and numerical differentiation and integration. In each section, ready-to-use programs are presented to help the reader implement various analysis methods. Source code for each language is provided in the book and on an accompanying 3.5" disk, giving readers the opportunity to create customized programs that meet the needs of specialized applications.
