Description
Circuit analysis forms the foundation of nearly all curricula in Electrical Engineering education. This text is intended to assist the lecturer in providing the student with both a broad and a deep understanding of this topic. Students enter engineering programmes with a wide range of mathematical capabilities. This text is written so that students can take the first course in circuit analysis while they are taking their first course in calculus. In the early portions of the text, any of the necessary calculus or differential equation concepts are introduced as part of the course material. In the latter portions, the authors have assumed that the student has completed a course in calculus and the mathematical concepts presented are considerably more sophisticated.
