Dad and the Cat is in a series of 3 contemporary storybooks written by popular children's author Tony Mitton for the Key Skills (High Frequency Words) strand of Cambridge Reading. This series also includes The Cat and the Fish and Go Away! Familiar domestic settings and amusing feline antics provide the basis for the battle of wits that ensues between Dad and the cat.
